Now, what if you realize that the future you so-fervently look forward to is happening now—that by some utopian occurrence, you can now live out the future you aspire for? With Samsung, this is all possible. The tech giant’s innovations allow its users to feel, touch, and experience the future right in the palm of their hands. That’s why for Samsung, the future is now—Next is Now. And, with the launch of the ALL-NEW Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung proves this point with grandeur.
The ALL-NEW Samsung Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge
Once again, the tech world finds itself in awe of Samsung’s unwavering passion and ability to push boundaries in giving consumers an impressive experience of the next big thing. With the all-new Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge, the company transforms the desires of smartphone users into a tangible reality—making dreams of tomorrow happen today. On all counts, the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge are, by far, the most beautiful, and most advanced Galaxy smartphones to date, what with their re-imagined design philosophy that merges beauty with purpose. These devices signify the next phase in smartphone technology.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge wow right from the onset: offering a design aesthetic unmatched in the industry. With delicate attention to precision & detail, these devices are elegantly refined, showcasing their beautiful curves resting on solid stability. The Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge integrate two contrasting materials: glass to reflect light and exude sophistication and matte aluminum to deliver strength and sleekness. Plus, featuring the world’s first dual edge screen on the Galaxy S6 edge, it’s undeniably a beauty to behold.
Samsung Innovation Inspires Next Level Art & Fashion
Much like the beautiful art pieces the Samsung Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge are, Samsung Electronics Philippines collaborated with masters of Filipino art & fashion to create art pieces inspired by the fine craftsmanship behind these next-level innovations. Attended by Manila’s fashion-forward clique, Samsung hosted an exclusive sartorial event entitled S Carpet: Art & Fashion last April 17, 2015 at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Mega Mall to unveil the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge, and showcase the fashion & art collaborations.
World-renowned Filipino glass sculptor Ramon Orlina created an exclusive collection of six finely-crafted glass sculptures inspired by the world’s first curved dual-edge screen on the Galaxy S6 edge—with each one also corresponding to the five colors of the latest Galaxy S line. Aside from Orlina, leading industry jeweler Marilou Co of Marilou Jewellery, created the world’s most precious Galaxy S6 case adorned with 60 brilliant diamonds set beautifully on a luxurious bed of 18k yellow and white gold. Such is only fitting for what is touted to be “the best phone in the world,” highlighting the premium quality of the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge.
At the forefront of fashion, the Fashion & Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the country’s premier fashion design organization composed of veterans, as well as fresh leading-edge talent also glean inspiration from the all-new Galaxy S6 series. These fashion artistes marry their visionary design with the myriad of elegant colors of the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge, creating a cohesive collection of couture pieces.
Creating silhouettes in mysterious black, veterans Randy Ortiz, Jojie Lloren, Albert Andrada, and Joey Samson are flanked by the likes of new fashion gems Kristel Yulo and Edwin Ao, and accessories designer Malou Araneta to highlight the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge in rich Black Sapphire.
Creating masterpieces that showcase the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge in elegant Gold Platinum, style visionaries OJ Hofer, Joyce Makitalo, Ivarluski Aseron, Len Nepomuceno-Martel, PJ Arañador, and Gerry Katigbak, together with shoe designer Joey Enriquez give their take, producing metallic pieces rendered in next-level sophistication.
For a pop of sophistication, the pieces created by Pablo Cabahug, JC Buendia, Avel Bacudio, Hindy Weber-Tantoco, Frederick Peralta, and Jerome Ang, adorned by accessories created by Amina Aranaz-Alunan all drew inspiration from the Green Emerald Galaxy S6 edge.
On the other hand, fashion artistes Joel Escober, Ramon Esteban, James Reyes, Happy Andrada, and Vittorio Barba crafted couture creations inspired by the Galaxy S6 in brilliant Blue Topaz. Their pieces were duly adorned with accessories by Gerry Sunga in the same cool palette.
Finally, with the White Pearl Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge as a spectrum peg, industry leads Rajo Laurel and Anthony Nocom, together with fashion talents like Arcy Gayatin, Ronaldo Arnaldo, Noel Crisostomo, Dong Omaga-Diaz, and shoe designer Maco Custodio create crisp clean lines and curves in both immaculate white and iridescent pearl versions.
Samsung’s Brand Believers
It seems that aside from the mentioned fashion visionaries, more and more people want to be in on Samsung’s “next is now” movement as well. Because of the brand’s unparalleled history of innovation in smartphone technology, the band of Samsung brand believers is growing exponentially. Long-time advocates are eager to share the experience with others, and even the most critical of tech users have now become avid converts of the brand with the launch of the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 edge. Everyone, it seems, want to hold the future in his or her hands.
Headlining Samsung’s aficionados are some prominent figures in local and Southeast Asian stardom. As prime example, Solenn Heussaff has long been a Samsung user, owing her loyalty to the brand’s ability to consistently deliver meaningful innovations with their smartphone devices. It has always been Samsung for the beautiful stylish star, and the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 series only has her giddy with excitement, all the more proud to be a Samsung loyalist all these years. Solenn wants them all to experience how Samsung smartphones can enhance their lives—much like how it has enhanced hers all these years.
One of the many convinced by Solenn’s praises of Samsung is one of her best friends Georgina Wilson. Georgina sees her star power shining even more brightly now as she claims her spot as the new Asian Style Icon. With her fashion-forward lifestyle and evolving needs, she now needs a smartphone that can keep up with her—one that not only mirrors her lifestyle, but also provides her with her with much-needed next-level functionalities. With its beautiful design blended with functional purpose and features, it wasn’t hard for Georgina to fall in love with the device. Now, she stands a proud Samsung convert.
More than mere ambassadors of the brand, these two beauties believe in what Samsung stands for and trust in the brand’s ability to provide them with meaningful innovations that will always satisfy their constant craving for the next big thing.
