Evolution of Interior design at PSID 2016 Show Exhibition

Venue at: The Square Building, Greenfield District, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

The PSID Evolution Exhibition is an annual exhibition by the final year students of batch 2016.

Nowadays it seems many of us want to see new concepts, trends and a dash of changing hues into our lifeless spaces. It is something that should reflect the best in us. With the fast paced in life we have the drive to not just reflect but affect the moods and personality to cultivate a space with a touch ups and sparks of inspiration.

Stunning Transformation that represents the “Evolution” A dynamic interior design giving exhibit goers a glimpse of what’s to come in design through past,  present and future.

To mark PSID’s 49th year, a major exhibition from the graduating batch of Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) Advanced Class of 2016 present a vintage trends and classic designs of works influenced by mid century design styles in 1940’s by illustrious designers from this time period such as Finn Juhl, Eero Aarnio, AlvarAalto, Eero Saarinen, Charles Eames, Hans Wegner, Warren Platner and Arne Jacobsen takes center stage in the Past gallery.

The Jacobsen Living room is inspired by the iconic era of mid century. From the use of stone and wood elements, to the neutral color scheme accented by bright colors.

Meanwhile the present gallery showcased a timeless design styles and gives a contemporary spin. These designs meets the eye of modern trend in an up to date and present concepts. Styles like Tropical, Filipino, Japanese, Mediterranean, Chinese, Moorish, Victorian and Baroque. Presented with Glam and Elegant fusion.

This exhibit here at Booth 14 – The Modern Victorian reminds me the office of my favorite Dubai based Fashion Designer Michael Cinco. The 1st Filipino to showcase a collection of stunning haute couture pieces at Paris, Fashion Week. Simplicity and elegance. A space for someone who is classy and organized.

Evolution celebrates the diversity and innovation of these young interior designers and their works. PSID known to produce ground breaking exhibits to learn more about world class Filipino design. Presenting graduating batch to showcase their art work designs and the PSID mark of excellence.  Expensively researched that marks the countdown to PSID’s 50th anniversary in 2017.
